Into the Wild
Unit 10 focuses on your fears and being scared to death. We are reading about the story of
Chris, from the movie ‘Into the Wild’.
If you are free on Monday 8th January, let’s go and watch the movie at the new Koshigaya Lake Town
cinema. We will leave after class and go directly to Koshigaya. The movie starts at 5.30pm.

What are you afraid of? Recently, I’ve been watching a TV show called, ‘I’m a celebrity…get me out of here!”
it’s a show about celebrities who are stuck in a jungle for three weeks. To survive, they must face their fears. If they can successfully complete a fear challenge, they win some food. The person who survives in the jungle the longest is the winner.
Check out this video of a TV celebrity called Timmy who is afraid of bugs and cockroaches. He must sit in a plastic box and get 10 stars to successfully complete the challenge! (Don’t watch if you don’t like creepy crawlies!)

I’m very afraid of the dentist! When I go to the dentist I shake, I cry and I am always sick.
